This position will support Wholesale Banking’s enhanced data and analytics strategy by partnering closely with a Business Enablement Lead and Business Unit partners to serve as a data expert on what data means and how it should be used, consult on business needs and priorities, create requirements and help track and prioritize the line of business analytics pipeline of work. Manage a team responsible for translating business needs into rapid response outputs, ad-hoc reporting, new reports, track progress of reporting deliverables, partner on change management/adoption approaches while advancing analytic capabilities.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

• Lead team in the design and production of business reporting /competitive intelligence, to enable effective “management by fact” decision making for leadership across Wholesale and drive performance.
• Develops and maintains strong working relationship at multiple levels, effectively engaging with senior leaders, front line teams and a wide variety of technical, risk and other functional partners across Truist
• Leads team to research, analyze, design data sources in support of projects, information needs, and changing business requirements to create innovative solutions tailored to deliver timely business intelligence.
• Following defined standards, executes data and report validations to support ongoing quality assurance processes.
• Drives efficiencies and automation in all reporting and analytic work, identifying process improvements, data quality enhancements and availability.
• Applies a comprehensive understanding of how the organization operates to solve technical, operational, and business problems.
• Directs team with a focus on advanced analytics, insight development, moving at the speed of the business to deliver quality execution and appropriate information and outputs

QUALIFICATIONS

1. Bachelor's Degree
2. 10 years of related experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
3. Strong analytical skills with high attention to detail and accuracy
4. Sound and comprehensive understanding of business and organizational strategies and processes
5. Ability to interpret internal and external business challenges and implement best practices to improve products, processes, or services
6. Ability to lead projects of significant complexity and risk exposure
7. Ability to exercise judgment in solving technical, operational, and organizational challenges in the context of business objectives and priorities
8. Ability to influence others to adopt a new perspective
9. Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills
10. Ability to make timely and independent judgment decisions while working in a fast paced and results driven environment

Preferred Qualifications:


1. Master's Degree or MBA
2. 12 years of related experience
3. Deep understanding of the Wholesale products, tools, and data environments (e.g., Salesforce CRM, Client profitability, Loans & Payment products etc..)
4. Experience with Tableau, Qlik or similar business intelligence and data visualization software
5. Advanced knowledge in developing queries and procedures in SQL, SAS, or other programing languages
