Reporting to a Sr Transformation Manager or Strategic Initiatives Director, the Transformation Manager is responsible for delivering multiple projects or a program for key strategic initiatives in Truist Wealth through close partnership with Wealth Senior Leadership.
The Transformation Manager coordinates cross functional project teams to execute projects or a program.
The Transformation Manager utilizes standard project protocols including project request/intake, prioritization, planning, business readiness, and execution activities to ensure that they support attainment of Wealth’s business and financial goals.

Manage the intake, planning, business readiness, and execution of projects/program to achieve Wealth’s key initiatives. (Ex: Transformational changes, technology innovations, and efficiency improvements) Lead cross functional teams effectively to deliver project management and communications. Engage with Risk partners to ensure project review, oversight, and mitigation in accordance with enterprise risk appetite Collaborate with all working lines of business (LOBs) in the Wealth and partners, as needed. Contribute to short and long-term project prioritization and planning in the Wealth Division and assist in attaining Wealth’s established business and financial goals. Establish and maintain a network of industry peers to stay abreast of current business and industry initiatives. Promote a cohesive, inclusive, team-oriented culture aligned with the Truist purpose, mission, and values

Required Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree in a business-related field, or equivalent education and related training Seven years of experience in the financial services industry or consulting Track record of successfully managing medium to large projects or programs Strong communication skills, both written and verbal Ability to lead cross-functional project meetings Conceptual ability to analyze problems and devise solutions Ability and willingness to learn and adapt as the needs of the job change Moderate level of business acumen, including the ability to balance the delivery of programs against the realities of a budget Demonstrated proficiency in computer applications, such as Microsoft Office software products, Microsoft Project, Visio Ability to travel as needed, occasionally overnight

Preferred Qualifications:

Master’s degree in a business-related field Ten years of experience in the financial services industry Project Management Professional (PMP) Certification Experience overseeing multiple business and technology programs using both Waterfall and Agile project management methodologies Wealth Management experience or knowledge Sound working knowledge of holistic banking/investment platforms, products, services, operations, finance and systems
