Geographical workforce management leader responsible for executing on Community Branch Banking workforce management staffing strategies and staffing targets through partnership with field leadership. Act as liaison between corporate WFM team and geographical leadership, and staffing consultant to “above-the-branch” leaders.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Following is a summary of the essential functions for this job. Other duties may be performed, both major and minor, which are not mentioned below. Specific activities may change from time to time.
1. Liaison between a major Community Branch Banking geography (900+ branches) and the corporate Workforce Management team; directly supporting Branch Banking Executives and Retail Region Leaders with end-to-end resource management direction and support.
2. Manage and/or direct the activities of the Workforce Management Specialists who support their respective geography.
3. Lead efforts to ensure assigned geography has an optimized and engaged branch workforce.
4. Responsible for deployment and governance of branch staffing plans for their geography, appropriate mix of full-time and part-time staff, appropriate movement of staff, and governance of paid hours effecting staffing expense (e.g. Overtime and Premium Pay).
5. Responsible for geography-specific branch hiring & retention strategies and interventions, and oversight of the talent acquisition process in the supported geography.
6. Lead the execution of workforce initiatives on behalf of the geography they support.
7. Support network optimization activities (e.g. relocation and closure activities) on behalf of the geography, including directing the placement of teammates displaced due to branch closures or relocations.
8. In partnership with Human Capital Enablement partners, facilitate strategic talent moves, develop salary recommendations, or support other HR-led initiatives.

QUALIFICATIONS
Required Qualifications:

1. Bachelor degree or a combination of education and work related experience.
2. 10+ years of branch banking experience, or equivalent experience in a related field/industry
3. Possess the ability to influence with and without authority, leadership, team building and interpersonal techniques
4. Strong analytic aptitude, ability to analyze data and formulate effective strategies and tactics to achieve branch staffing and efficiency objectives
5. Project management and process improvement experience, including experience deploying large-scale initiatives to branch banking teammates
6. Excellent communications skills and ability to effectively present across varied audiences, including senior executives
7. Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint skills, strong leadership and communication skills

Preferred Qualifications:
1. Branch Banking Resource / Workforce Management experience
2. Experience as a people manager
3. Experience with recruiting and/or human resources
4. Experience with Workforce Analytics
