1. Perform detailed underwriting analysis of retail mortgage loans that have been recommended for denial ensuring the recommendation is accurate and the loan does not meet requirements for approval.
2. Complete data entry in LOS (Loan Origination System) for denial codes, ensuring accuracy of information reflected on Adverse Action Notices.
3. Assist with review of current desktop procedures for processes in which reviews are performed.
4. Provide coaching to internal partners regarding best practices and requirements as outlined in policies & procedures
5. Provide timely responses and documentation for any Retail and Compliance review findings on loans that were Adversed.
Required Qualifications:

1. High School diploma or equivalent education
2. Seven years of mortgage loan origination experience
3. Strong knowledge of all investor/insurer and regulatory guidelines, applicable laws, and company audit policies and procedures
4. Work in a deadline driven environment
5. Effectively interact with management and internal partners
6. Exhibit a keen attention to detail and the ability to quickly comprehend information
7. Strong interpersonal, analytical and problem-solving skills
8. Strong verbal and written communication skills
9. Understanding of complex personal and business tax returns, cash flow analysis, and documentation utilized in complex lending situations
