Job Summary:
- Supports the day-to-day operational functions for PNFP and their Capital Markets Division to ensure accuracy and efficiency in the relationships with Relationship Managers, Credit team members, customers, Agent and Member banks. Actively manages a complex portfolio of syndicated / participated bank facilities and works with various internal departments to ensure proper procedures, account maintenance, and monitoring. Works with internal and external clients and consistently maintains a high level of client service. Follows established procedures in review of internal/external documentation and deal structure of syndicated loans from closing through servicing
Job Duties and Responsibilities:
- Manages a complex portfolio of syndicated/participated bank facilities across multiple industries and business lines. Provides loan servicing support and has direct communication with agent banks, lenders, and business partners.
- Analyzes credit agreement for establishment of new loan set-ups in accordance with the loan documentation. Monitors and processes all fees, principal, interest, rate changes, Letter of Credit issuances, L/C draws, modifications, releases, or waivers, over the life of the loan.
- Manages the ongoing balances between the loan system and agent ban. Communicates with internal/external agents regarding issues around these specialized facilities.
- Reads and interprets complex legal credit agreements and related documentation working with credit, legal, and/or origination.
- Working knowledge and the interpretation of complex loan documents and the associated system setup to support, including the knowledge of Bank Systems to manage the Syndicated Lending Business (nCino, AFSVision, Clearpar, Syntradk, Debtex).
- Establishes and monitors loans in AFS Vsision, maintaining detailed working folders for monthly reporting to members of senior management. Purchases, sells and processes all incoming principal and interest payments, reconciling the loan control general ledger account.
- Establishes and monitors loans in FIS, maintaining detailed spreadsheet for monthly reporting to members of senior management. Purchases, sells and processes all incoming principal and interest payments, reconciling the loan control general ledger account.
- Investigates and reconciles discrepancies. Resolves and/or escalates irregular transactions or missing data as needed. Performs reconciliation of Loan Control, coordinating with the reconciliations department as appropriate for clearing any related open items.
- Performs other related duties as required.

Minimum Education:
- High School diploma or equivalent.
Minimum Experience:
- Five years of commercial banking operations/administrative support experience including experience with loan payments and funding mechanisms and at least two years of loan operations experience with a good understanding of direct and syndicated loans, including loan structure, execution and maintenance.
Required Knowledge, Skills, & Abilities:
- Advanced knowledge and understanding of complex, attorney prepared loan documents, including initial funding requirements, and ongoing servicing requirements.
