STRIVE ENGINEERING GROUP’s internship program is designed for college juniors and seniors pursuing Civil Engineering or Structural Engineering degrees, who are looking to gain valuable structural and civil engineering industry experience.APPLICATION DEADLINE: MARCH 10, 2023ELIGIBILITY: COLLEGE JUNIORS AND SENIORSLOCATION: MIDTOWN ATLANTAPROGRAM DATES: MAY - AUGUST 2023RESPONSIBILITIES:- Conduct thorough design calculations, including load calculations as per IBC, ACI, AISC, ASCE 7, and NDS standards.- Conduct on-site inspections and evaluations.- Coordinate Revit/BIM360 models.- Collaborate with licensed professional engineers on various projects across the country.QUALIFICATIONS:- The ideal candidate should possess a sound technical background, strong communication skills, and a passion for designing great structures.- A BS degree in Civil Engineering or completion of at least 24 hours of engineering coursework toward a BS in Civil Engineering (with a focus on Steel, Concrete, and Wood Design) is required.- Proficiency in AutoDesk Revit and AutoCAD is a must.- The candidate should be accepted into or planning to apply for a graduate program in Civil Engineering with a structural emphasis.- EIT certification is preferred.- Strong verbal and written communication skills are necessary.- The candidate should have a flexible schedule and be available for a minimum of 20 hours per week.
