At Regions, the Loan Servicing Single Point of Contact Specialist works with customers that are going through the foreclosure process as the sole point of contact for the borrower until their financial hardship is resolved.
Primary Responsibilities
- Acts as a direct point of contact for delinquent or imminent default borrowers and assists them through the loss mitigation servicing process
- Assesses, resolves, and executes appropriate workout solutions
- Works with customers to resolve mortgage account delinquency status while minimizing company interest losses
- Implements repayment plans as necessary and collects delinquent payments
- Ensures that files and paperwork are properly and accurately completed
- May contact outside parties to collect or clarify documentation
This position requires the tracking of time and is eligible for overtime for hours worked in excess of 40 per week under the Fair Labor Standards Act.
This position is incentive eligible.
Requirements
- High School Diploma or GED
Applicants will be expected to pass any assessment associated with the position

- Strong organization skills
This position may be filled at a higher level depending on the candidate’s qualifications and relevant experience.
Call center and/or collections experience preferred.
MUST be bilingual in Spanish and English.
Schedule of the role is as follows:
Training:
Monday - Friday, 7:30am - 4:30pm CST (3 months)
Post Training:
Monday - Friday, 9:00 am to 6:00 pm (CST) or 8:00 am to 5:00 pm (CST)
Rotating Late shift - Once a Week (11:00am to 8:00pm)
Rotating Saturday - Once a Month (8:00am to 12:00pm)
This position is intended to be onsite, now or in the near future. Associates will have regular work hours, including full days in the office three or more days a week. The manager will set the work schedule for this position, including in-office expectations.
The locations available for this role are Hattiesburg, MS and Houston, TX.
Compensation Details
Pay ranges are job specific and are provided as a point-of-market reference for compensation decisions. Other factors which directly impact pay for individual associates include: experience, skills, knowledge, contribution, job location and, most importantly, performance in the job role. As these factors vary by individuals, pay will also vary among individual associates within the same job.
The target information listed below is based on the Metropolitan Statistical Area Market Range for where the position is located and level of the position.
