Piedmont Healthcare is seeking Board Certified/Board Eligible Neurologists to join our growing team of Neuro-Hospitalists across several metro Atlanta locations. This is an exceptional opportunity to become part of a rapidly expanding neurosciences program with a vision of creating the largest and highest-quality neuroscience service line in Georgia.

As a Neuro-Hospitalist with Piedmont, you will work alongside a collaborative team of neurologists, neurosurgeons, neuro-intensivists, and advanced practice providers dedicated to delivering world-class neurological care across our integrated health system.

Program Highlights

Piedmont's robust neurosciences service line includes:

  • Comprehensive Neuro-Hospitalist services
  • Neurosurgery and Neurocritical Care programs
  • Dedicated Stroke and Neurology Units
  • Established Spine and Brain Tumor Programs
  • Expanding Cerebrovascular and Neuro-ICU Services
  • Six Primary Stroke Centers across the health system
  • One Thrombectomy-Capable Stroke Center
  • Access to advanced neurological technology and treatment modalities

Piedmont manages more than 3,000 stroke admissions annually across the health system, including over 2,000 admissions in the Metro Atlanta market alone, making this an outstanding opportunity for physicians seeking a high-volume and clinically rewarding practice environment.

Position Highlights

  • 7 on / 7 off schedule
  • System-wide call coverage approximately 1:12
  • Advanced Practice Provider support
  • Established Tele-Neurology program
  • Dedicated Stroke Managers at each hospital
  • Epic EMR platform
  • Collaborative multidisciplinary team environment
  • Opportunity to help shape and grow the neurosciences service line
  • EEG interpretation skills welcomed but not required

Candidate Requirements

  • MD or DO degree
  • Board Certified or Board Eligible in Neurology
  • Eligible for medical licensure in Georgia
  • Commitment to quality, patient-centered care, and clinical excellence
