Polysomnography Tech - Non-Registered

Responsibilities:

With the assistance of a Registered Polysomnography Technologist, performing all aspects of diagnostic testing and record scoring to ensure a high degree of quality services.

Qualifications:

Education

• H.S. Diploma or General Education Degree (GED) Required
• Some college coursework in basic science or sleep medicine Preferred

Work Experience

• 2 years of experience in Polysomnography, EEG, or Respiratory Therapy Preferred and
• 2 years of experience in a sleep laboratory servicing adults Preferred or
• Other health related experience might qualify

Licenses and Certifications

• None Required
• BRPT - Registered Polysomnographic Technologist Eligible to sit for the sleep boards offered by the Board of Registered Polysomnographic Technologists (BRPT) Preferred
