Imaging Service Spec II - Atlanta

Responsibilities: Perform installations, repairs, and maintenance tasks on diagnostic medical equipment specific medical devices. Inspect, test, replace and adjust malfunctioning components and parts. Keep records of system problems and issues. Qualifications:

MINIMUM EDUCATION REQUIRED:
Associate's degree in Biomedical Equipment Technology, Electronic Technology, Imaging Service Technology or a related field OR related military training.
In lieu of degree, three (3) years of relevant work experience will be accepted in addition to the experience requirement.

MINIMUM EXPERIENCE REQUIRED:
Two (2) years of demonstrated experience performing corrective and preventive maintenance on the following: General X-Ray, R&F room, C-Arms, Portables.
In lieu of degree, five (5) years of relevant experienced required.

MINIMUM LICENSURE/CERTIFICATION REQUIRED BY LAW:
None.

ADDITIONAL QUALIFICATIONS:
Certified Radiology Equipment Service (CRES) is preferred.
Vendor raining preferred.
Must possess specialized training by manufacturer or third party equipment repair in high end equipment such Diagnostic Imaging.
Working knowledge of laboratory technology, imaging technology, medical terminology, medical instrumentation, anatomy, and/or physiology service techniques
Broad knowledge and up-to-date understanding of OSHA, NFPA, DNV, TJC,, FDA and other specific state and federal regulations and standards pertaining to equipment service and repair.
