Phlebotomist - Newnan Internal Medicine

Overview: Performs phlebotomy procedures in accordance with standard policy and procedure guidelines. Draws blood from patients in a physician's office/clinic, or similar facility for analysis or other medical purposes Responsibilities: Performs venipunctures, and obtains/prepares blood specimens in accordance with Piedmont policies and procedures. Qualifications: Education

• H.S. Diploma or General Education Degree (GED) Required

• No experience required Required
• 1 year of experience as a phlebotomist Preferred
• Experience working in healthcare Preferred

• CPT - Phlebotomy Technician Certification Phlebotomy certification through ASCP, ASPT, NCA or equivalent agency Preferred
