Anesthesia Tech - Operating Room, Evenings

Overview:

Location: Piedmont Fayette Hospital

Shift: Days

Status: Full-time

Department: Operating Room

Responsibilities:

Assists anesthesia providers and other health care members in providing care to the patient undergoing an operative invasive procedure. Prepares anesthesia equipment and supplies necessary for administration of general, monitored anesthesia care, or regional anesthesia and supports anesthesia services. Maintains inventory levels of anesthesia equipment and supplies. Job responsibilities include specific anesthesia and equipment related comprehensive care to the child, adolescent, adult and geriatric patients undergoing invasive procedures.

Qualifications:

Education

• H.S. Diploma or General Education Degree (GED) Required

Work Experience

• 1 year experience with direct patient care experience in a hospital setting Required
• 2 years Previous experience in an operating room Preferred

Licenses and Certifications

• Basic Life Support (BLS) Required
• Cer.A.T. - Certified Anesthesia Technician Preferred
