APP- Pulm Inpatient Med-WEO

Responsibilities: Member of a multidisciplinary care team that assists in coordination and management of post-operative / post-procedure and critically ill patients in the hospital, as well as evaluating pre- and post-operative / procedure patients in the ambulatory setting. Applies specialized skills and knowledge related to the care of patients in the CVOR, ICU, CCU and CVICU areas. Contributes to excellence in patient care, research, teaching, consulting, and provide leadership to the organization. Qualifications: Education

• Graduate of an accredited school of nursing with current Georgia license for Advanced Practice Nursing Required and
• Master's degree a Master's in Nursing, Required or
• Graduate of an accredited Physician Assistants program with current license for the Georgia State Composite Board Required

• No experience required as a PA or NP
• Demonstrates years of experience with and knowledge of current medical, surgical and pharmaceutical treatment modalities. Required
• Experience in program development, quality improvement, research, development of evidence based clinical protocols, and regulatory readiness program planning. Required
• Previous experience in professional presentations and group education

• ACLS Upon Hire Required and
• PA - Physician Assistant Licensed Physician Assistant in the State of Georgia Upon Hire Required or
• ACNP - Acute Care Nurse Practitioner Licensed Licensed for Advanced Practice Nursing (ACNP) in the State of Georgia Upon Hire Required
