Billing Rep

Overview: Generating, reviewing and transmitting claims for hospital-based services to third-party payors. Collaborating across Revenue Cycle departments to ensure billing edits and other up-front billing-related issues are resolved completely and efficiently. The Billing Representative reports to the Manager of Hospital Billing. Responsibilities: Generating, reviewing and transmitting claims for hospital-based services to third-party payors. Collaborating across Revenue Cycle departments to ensure billing edits and other up-front billing-related issues are resolved completely and efficiently. The Billing Representative reports to the Manager of Hospital Billing. Qualifications: Education

• H.S. Diploma or General Education Degree (GED) Required

• 1 year of previous related healthcare Revenue Cycle experience, preferably with a focus in billing Required
• 2 years of previous related healthcare Revenue Cycle experience, preferably with a focus in billing. Preferred
• Prior Epic experience Preferred
