Patient Access Associate
Description:
RESPONSIBLE FOR:
Serves as a Call Center agent to support for the Patient Access Registration Call Center within Piedmont Healthcare. Performs Registration activities in a remote environment to ensure patient accounts are complete with valid insurance coverage and current demographic/clinical data. Calculates patient financial responsibility, presents patient financial options/requirements and processes patient payments. Performs functions for multiple sites across Piedmont Healthcare and includes various services lines including emergency department, L&D, and assigned Outpatient locations.

SCHEDULE: TUESDAY - SATURDAY, 3:00PM - 11:30PM
Qualifications:MINIMUM EDUCATION REQUIRED:
High School graduate or GED equivalent
MINIMUM EXPERIENCE REQUIRED:
One (1) year exp in one of the following:
1. Healthcare Revenue Cycle
2. Clinical role
3. Related clerical accounting/finance/retail.
MINIMUM LICENSURE/CERTIFICATION REQUIRED BY LAW:
None.
ADDITIONAL QUALIFICATIONS:
Three (3) years of healthcare Revenue Cycle/Call Center experience preferred.
Certification with Healthcare Financial Management Association or Certified Revenue Cycle Representative preferred.
Prior Epic experience preferred.
