Role Overview

 

 

Hoshizaki Inspectors, along with all other employees, are responsible to protect customers and the Hoshizaki brand.  Under limited supervision, Inspectors provide confidence that our products will fulfill quality requirements by performing visual, mechanical, functional, dimensional, or electrical inspection of a variety of products in the production assembly process through final system assembly.  Inspectors use technology to test, communicate, and store information using tablets, computers, or other devices.  Inspectors communicate with the appropriate staff to help contain and prevent nonconforming product from escaping our process.  

 

Location: Peachtree City, Georgia

Schedule: Monday - Thursday from 5:00am to 3:30PM

Responsibilities & Key Performance Indicators

  • Predetermined qty of Kaizens
  • Predetermined qty of Safety Observations
  • Predetermined qty of periodic maintenance tasks

 

Qualifications

 

  • Required: High School Diploma or GED equivalent. 
  • preferred: Associate degree in electronics or related field and two years of mechanical/electrical repair experience; or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Well-rounded knowledge of the operating principles of refrigeration.
  • Ability to troubleshoot at subsystem and system level using identifiable problem-solving techniques.
  • Ability to read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and system diagrams.
  • Ability to understand and interpret basic written technical information.
  • Working knowledge of inspection/troubleshooting techniques and instruments.
  • Knowledge of design techniques, tools, and principals involved in production of precision technical plans, blueprints, drawings, and models.
  • Knowledge of machines and tools, including their designs, uses, repair, and maintenance.
  • Hands on experience using measurement devices, i.e., calipers, micrometer, height gage, etc. 
  • Ability to replace components; wire circuits; repair simple electronic equipment; and take test readings using common instruments.

Salary & Benefits

 

The hourly range for this position is $21.95 - $26.24. This range is a good faith estimate of what Hoshizaki America expects to pay for this role. Actual pay may vary based on experience, education, skills, and internal equity.
