Role Overview

 

Our Manufacturing Engineers are hands-on problem solvers who improve how products are built; making processes faster, safer, leaner, and more reliable.

 

Key Responsibilities

 

  • Design, develop, and improve manufacturing processes for efficiency, quality, and cost reduction
  • Apply Lean Manufacturing and continuous improvement tools to eliminate waste and boost productivity
  • Partner with Production, Quality, Maintenance, and Engineering to solve real-time manufacturing issues
  • Support new product introductions and develop manufacturing methods with Design Engineering
  • Lead capital projects from concept through installation—on time and on budget
  • Evaluate and select equipment, tools, and technologies for production use
  • Create concept drawings, process flows, work instructions, and SOPs
  • Conduct feasibility studies, simulations, and risk assessments for process changes
  • Analyze production data to identify root causes and drive corrective actions
  • Support supplier qualification and process development initiatives

 

Qualifications

 

  • Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Industrial, Manufacturing Engineering (or equivalent experience)
  • 3–5 years of manufacturing engineering or related experience
  • Proven success driving process improvement in a production environment
  • Strong understanding of manufacturing processes and fabrication methods
  • Experience with Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma, and data-driven problem solving
  • Proficiency in CAD tools (SolidWorks, AutoCAD)
  • Ability to read blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings
  • Strong communication and cross-functional collaboration skills
  • Project management experience leading technical initiatives

 

Preferred Qualifications

 

  • Experience in commercial foodservice or appliance manufacturing
  • Demonstrated leadership in cross-functional project teams
  • Familiarity with supplier qualification or development
  • Passion for continuous improvement, innovation, or mentoring others

Salary & Benefits

 

The salary range for this position is $[70,000]– $[90,000] annually. This range is a good faith estimate of what Hoshizaki America expects to pay for this role. Actual pay may vary based on experience, education, skills, and internal equity.
