Role Overview
Strategic Accounts Manager role is a key sales position responsible for creating new growth opportunities through alternative channels, niche markets, consultants, and key end user relationships. This position is critical for expanding Hoshizaki’s presence in the ice machine and refrigeration markets by driving new account growth, building strategic relationships, and collaborating across sales channels. Success in this role directly impacts revenue growth and strengthens Hoshizaki’s strategic customer engagement.
What You’ll Own
- Manage and grow strategic customers, channels, and influencers to expand market share in ice machines and refrigeration
- Build and deepen relationships with national accounts, chains, government entities, and consultants
- Drive new business development, including expansion into institutional markets (healthcare, medical, etc.)
- Partner with Regional Sales teams to maximize distributor and dealer channels and uncover cross-channel opportunities
- Maintain strong alignment with company values through professionalism, compliance, and customer trust
- Own and deliver on:
- Annual sales quota
- Reach-in refrigeration unit targets
- New national and regional chain growth
- CRM (CE) pipeline management and collaboration tracking
What You Bring (Critical to Success)
- 10+ years in foodservice industry, including Director-level leadership experience
- Proven track record managing strategic / national accounts (chains, institutions, consultants)
- Experience selling into or developing institutional segments (healthcare preferred)
- Demonstrated success with multi-channel sales strategies and cross-regional collaboration
- Strong background in national account management and strategic partnerships

- Ability to build strategic plans and execute in complex sales environments
- Skilled in problem-solving, sound judgment, and navigating ambiguity

Salary & Benefits
The salary range for this position is $107,000 - $130,000 annually. This range is a good faith estimate of what Hoshizaki America expects to pay for this role. Actual pay may vary based on experience, education, skills, and internal equity.
