:Waldorf Astoria is looking for a Training and Quality Manager to join the Human Resources Team at this gorgeous Atlanta property!
Located in one of Atlanta's most prestigious neighborhoods, this Forbes 4-Star hotel is a 42-story tower with over 200 rooms (127 guest rooms plus residences), over 10,000 square feet of meeting space, and 3 food and beverage outlets. This includes the 3-meal restaurant, bar, and in-room dining.
In this role, you will report directly to the Director of Human Resources.
The ideal candidate will be a highly motivated leader driven to help us achieve the Forbes 5-Star rating. Prior luxury hotel experience and knowledge in Forbes standards is required. Additional qualifications include:
- At least 3 years of management experience in Hotel Operations
- At least 2 years of training / facilitation experience
- Superior verbal and written communication skills
- Proficient in Project Management and Performance Improvement
- Strong Analytical skills
- Bilingual Skills is a plus

What will I be doing?
As Training & Quality Manager, you would be responsible for overseeing and managing the training and professional development function in the hotel's continuing effort to deliver outstanding guest service and financial profitability. Also, you will manage and implement initiatives in support of positive team member engagement, culture, and recognition. Specifically, you would be responsible for performing the following tasks to the highest standards:
- Oversee and administer all training and professional development functions to include, but not limited to, creating and/or developing course content, facilitating and/or conducting training sessions/workshops, planning and implementing corporate and hotel training initiatives, conducting needs assessments, measuring training effectiveness and ensuring on-the-job application of service, leadership, specialty and department-specific training initiatives.
- Develop, plan, coordinate and implement training programs in accordance with current standards including, but not limited to, harassment-free workplace, diversity, new team member orientation, departmental training, communication, leadership, service and train-the-trainer training.
- Plan and conduct meetings with department managers, property trainers and team members to review performance trends, to develop appropriate action plans and to provide appropriate recognition.
- Monitor all departmental training programs and assist departmental trainers in conducting pre-shift audits, executing job skills checklists, and utilizing brand service toolkit training.
- Track, input, maintain and audit all individual team member training records to ensure full compliance with established corporate standards.
- Develop and distribute the annual training calendar, compile and distribute periodic reports (i.e. monthly, quarterly, etc.) and measurements related to training activity and return on investment.
- Collaborate with the Executive Committee and key Department Heads in Hilton's Quality Assurance audits and Stay Experience platform.
- Create an environment and ambiance that makes Team Members feel energized, comfortable and motivated.
- Support Human Resources functions in new hire onboarding, team member engagement, and recognition programs.
