This is an exciting job opportunity for you as a Mechanical Manufacturing Technician in Peachtree City, GA. Cooper Lighting Solutions is a business unit of Signify, the world leader in lighting.

• Design, fabricate and maintain test fixtures, jigs, protypes and 3D printed parts

• Maintain, troubleshoot and repair electro-mechanical equipment for total Controls, 3D, Repair Center areas

• Support the set up and maintenance of production areas as needed

More about you

While we value and appreciate all applicants, we believe that the following experience and skills will be needed to shine brightly in this job opening:

• 5+ years’ experience fabricating fixtures and jigs; experience in a manufacturing type environment a plus

• Experience with a variety of mechanical tools and equipment; familiarity with machine shop equipment a plus

• Experience with CAD (Solidworks preferred) and strong interest in 3D printing; knowledge of 3D printing a plus

• Self-starter with ability to work with minimal supervision in a dynamic work environment; Strong interpersonal skills in verbal communication and attention to detail; knowledge of Microsoft Word/Excel a plus

• Ability to lift/move up to 25lbs; occasionally up to 70lbs

Must be legally authorized to work for the company without current or future company sponsorship needs.

Starting Rate = $31.67 per hour
