More about the role
This is an exciting job opportunity for you as a Field Quality Engineer onsite in Peachtree City, GA, with Cooper Lighting Solutions, a business unit of Signify, the world leader in lighting.
Analyze warranty claims to determine root cause and develop effective resolution plans; own end-to-end customer claims, ensuring timely progress from intake through closure
Perform and lead failure analysis, including lab-based testing (visual, functional, electrical), and coordinate with external FA (Failure Analysis) resources, as needed
Collaborate with internal teams (Manufacturing, Engineering, Quality, Marketing, Sales), agents, and contractors to drive resolution of customer issues
Create and maintain detailed job files and documentation within the SAP quality module (QN)
Travel to job sites to troubleshoot, validate failures, and gather critical field data; review and validate field labor claims, including negotiation and approval support
Drive continuous improvement by identifying trends, gaps, and opportunities based on field and FA learnings
More about you

Bachelor’s degree in engineering (Electrical, Electronics, or related) and experience in a customer-facing or field-based technical role
Working knowledge of electronics, failure analysis, and electrical testing with ability to troubleshoot issues at both the component and system level
Well-developed project management skills and successful managing multiple claims and priorities simultaneously
Excellent written and verbal communication skills; able to clearly document findings and communicate with both technical and non-technical stakeholders
SAP experience preferred
Able to travel up to 25% in North America

Salary: $61,060 - 89,551 based on experience
Bonus: target bonus opportunity - 5%
