As the Growth Strategy Principal of our IPA/MSO, you will be responsible for supporting the IPA/MSO business development efforts to create and maintain a competitive product portfolio based off of dynamic competitive intel, to help grow channel partnerships, referral opportunities to drive membership and revenue growth. With a focus to meet/exceed the organization’s MSO/IPA membership growth targets, this role will collaborate directly with the Local Market Leaders as well as with our retail markets, partners, and prospects, to enable the portfolio of IPA/MSO product solutions and business partnerships.
The Principal will also be responsible for the effective negotiating strategy and execution with local market leadership. This includes the ability to effectively leverage prior sales experience to enroll net new groups by countering objections, and understanding the competitive landscape; as well as expand our product offering with existing groups across the country.
As a part of the MSO/IPA growth organization, you will need to understand trends and needs, understand competition and customer gaps, along with ability to anticipate new inflection points. This role also requires creativity and business acumen in developing channel solutions including but not limited to business partnerships strategies.
This position is full-time with preference of being based onsite or virtual in a geography that supports Centerwell’s markets. Key Responsibilities
The Growth Strategy Principal of our IPA/MSO drives business development to meet membership sales and retention goals. You will partner with key Centerwell Stakeholders through the following ways:
Partners with the local leadership and growth team members to effectively source and support growth opportunities nationally
Negotiate complex IPA/MSO agreements with net new provider groups as well as payor expansions with existing partners.
Develop strategic partnerships with industry partners that contribute to the growth of the IPA business
Provides ongoing success outcomes to key stakeholders through executive reporting
Support administrative functions for the growth organization including: contract approval processes, financial reporting and maintaining market level sales materials for Medicare Advantage and ACO offerings
Develop and implement standardized growth processes for stakeholder alignment
Contribute to the strategic input of product development through provider input and competitive intelligence

Required Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Business, Healthcare Administration or other related fields
A minimum of eight year experience in Healthcare, with a specific focus on Medicare advantage with a history of effectively bringing together a myriad of stakeholders at varying levels within the organization to solve a common goal
A minimum of three years experience of Medicare Advantage value-based care experience, including work with MSO/IPAs and primary care partnerships
Knowledge of primary care reimbursement and provider contracts
Experience managing cross functional projects/teams
Strong interpersonal skills, excellent emotional intelligence, and comfortable collaborating across segments and the enterprise to drive work.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with strong presentation skills
Proficient with Microsoft Office and familiarity managing CRMs

Role requires up to 25% monthly travel, based on the business need

The compensation range below reflects a good faith estimate of starting base pay for full time (40 hours per week) employment at the time of posting. The pay range may be higher or lower based on geographic location and individual pay will vary based on demonstrated job related skills, knowledge, experience, education, certifications, etc.
